Your journey begins with a scenic 1.5-hour flight from Zanzibar Airport to Seronera Airstrip in central Serengeti. As you fly over the Indian Ocean, Ngorongoro Highlands, and the endless plains of Serengeti, the views are simply breathtaking. Upon arrival, your safari vehicle awaits to whisk you away on your first game drive. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch en route and continue exploring until late afternoon, when you arrive at Africa Safari Serengeti Ikoma for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive across the stunning plains of Serengeti. Depending on the season and rainfall patterns, you may witness the spectacular Great Migration—thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving in unison. Along the way, expect close encounters with elephants, giraffes, hippos, elands, and big cats. You’ll return to camp in the evening for dinner and rest.

Enjoy a relaxed morning at the camp before setting out in the afternoon for a guided walking safari. Accompanied by an armed ranger, you’ll track wildlife on foot—a unique and thrilling way to experience the bush. The walk ends with a classic sundowner overlooking the Serengeti. After a quick dinner back at camp, you’ll embark on a night game drive, spotting nocturnal creatures like bush babies, civets, genets, and—if you’re lucky—an aardvark or porcupine.
