Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

Day 5: Second Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park
Today, embark on another full-day game drive, this time following new routes to uncover different sections of the park. Ruaha's untouched wilderness reveals fresh sightings with every turn—herds of elephants, territorial lions, and maybe even a cheetah on the hunt. Enjoy a packed lunch in a scenic area and some downtime in nature before continuing your wildlife experience. As the sun begins to set over the hills and baobab trees, head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer from Ruaha to Morogoro via Mikumi
After breakfast, depart from Ruaha National Park and begin your journey toward Morogoro. Upon arrival in Morogoro, check back into Camp Bastian Mikumi and relax for the evening as you prepare for the next leg of your adventure.

Day 7: Hike to Sanje Waterfalls – Udzungwa Mountains National Park

Upon arrival, you'll receive a safety briefing before beginning your guided hike to Sanje Waterfalls. Day 9: Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

Day 10: Second Game Drive in Nyerere National Park & Hot Spring Visit
Today you’ll explore different parts of Nyerere National Park on a second full-day game drive, venturing into new routes and landscapes. With varied topography—from grasslands to wetlands and acacia forests—you’ll encounter a wide range of wildlife, including elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and rich birdlife. One of the highlights of the day is a visit to a natural hot spring hidden deep within the park. If road conditions allow (especially outside the rainy season), you may even take a refreshing dip. After a packed picnic lunch in the bush, continue your drive before returning to camp by sunset.

Day 11: Bush Walk, Village Tour & Sunset Boat Safari
Begin the day before breakfast with a guided bush walk led by a local bushman and an armed ranger—an intimate way to learn about the park’s ecosystem, tracks, and animal behavior. Return to camp for breakfast, followed by a cultural visit to Mloka village, where you’ll engage with the local community and learn about their way of life. After lunch at the lodge, head to the Rufiji River for a sunset boat safari. Glide past pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on the riverbanks, and countless bird species—all while the sun dips behind the horizon. It’s a peaceful and memorable way to end your day.

Day 12: Fly to Zanzibar – End of Safari
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Mtemere Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Your journey ends upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, where you’ll be ready to unwind and enjoy the island’s white sandy beaches and turquoise waters.
